I don’t know. I sorta feel a little let down with only one picture of Pluto released yesterday. I was super excited for what I thought would be multiple photos. I told my wife and daughter about it, over dinner. I talked about it during the day. I told them about it during the day a few times. I obsessively searched the internet for news about Pluto. I tweeted a lot about #plutoflyby.

And then we are presented with this.

Sure it’s cool, amazing really, but it’s a big let down. It’s now 24 hours or so since it snapped a bunch of pictures and then reached space where it can send it all back to Earth. We have one picture to show for it?

Maybe it really is an alien base, and this is the only photo that wouldn’t show the aliens?

Or maybe somebody mistakenly turned autofocus off. Oops.
