ESPN deserves a round of applause for their persistence. They have pushed international soccer since FIFA to what I have to imagine is so little growth in interest that it has to be measured in the fractions of a percent. The odd thing about it is ESPN ignoring the USA’s domestic league, MLS. ESPN ignores MLS so much that if I didn’t get Yahoo! Sports alerts on the games I would think MLS went defunct.
Anyone have any clue why ESPN refuses to acknowledge MLS but talks about foreign leagues every SportsCenter broadcast?
